What is included?
The list contains the 50 states, including Washington (WA). It excludes Washington, D.C. (DC), Puerto Rico, territories and military postal codes.
Equal chances
Byte values 0–249 are accepted; 250–255 are retried. Five accepted byte values map to each state. The list is fixed and does not need a network request to generate a state.
USPS state abbreviations: The list uses the current two-letter postal abbreviations, including Nebraska NE.
